Opening hours

Opening hours are:

Monday: 09:00 – 12:00 and 14:00 bis 18.00
Tuesday: 08:00 – 13:00
Wednesday: by arrangement
Thursday: 13:00 – 18:00
Friday: 09:00 – 13:00
Saturday: by arrangement

Our practice is also usually open from 8:00 a.m. on Mondays and Fridays, and examinations or appointments often take place between or after office hours. I am personally available for you during the specified consultation hours. If there is a justified need, appointments can also be made outside office hours by special arrangement.

Outside these office hours, the emergency medical service can be reached 24 hours a day at 116117 or, in urgent cases, the emergency doctor at 112. Holiday replacements are currently announced.

Appointments:

We strive to keep waiting times to a minimum and therefore ask that you make an appointment in advance, especially for visits that can be scheduled, such as preventive examinations, consultations and certificates. We would be very grateful if you could help us to keep things running smoothly in our practice.

In case of acute illness, you can of course always come immediately. Depending on the severity of your illness, we will take care of you immediately or integrate you into the daily routine with waiting time.

Please understand that if there is no emergency, we also treat appointment patients by appointment and not after they have arrived at the practice, i.e. we give them priority even if the waiting time is shorter.

Nevertheless, there may be waiting times even for patients with an appointment,

  • if there is an emergency or
  • the number of acute, unordered cases exceeds a calculable level, or
  • the severity of an illness or a crisis intervention requires excessive time.

Such time losses are usually not recoverable in the course of the day. Anyone can get into such a situation and is then grateful for your understanding. You, too, want your problems to be taken seriously and treated carefully, not “5-minute medicine”.

However, if there are significant delays, you will be informed at the counter and can use the time until your appointment for other purposes, postpone it or, if necessary, ask to be called back after the end of the consultation. Some problems can also be solved by telephone or discussed in advance.

Nevertheless, we ask you to keep the appointments you have made with us! We plan time for our patients – this also incurs costs (e.g. for staff, premises, etc.). If appointments cannot be kept, please cancel them as soon as possible.

Urgent cases/emergencies:

In case of acute illness, you can of course always come immediately. Depending on the severity of your illness, we will take care of you immediately or integrate you into the daily routine with a waiting period. Outside our surgery hours, you can reach the emergency medical service 24 hours a day by dialling 310031 or, in urgent cases, the emergency doctor by dialling 112.

Accessibility:
We are available during our practice opening hours and in exceptional cases by prior arrangement outside these hours.

You will always be notified in advance of practice holidays with practice closure. Representatives are usually the colleagues on the same floor or on the ground floor. You will find detailed information on the practice door. Exceptions can be training courses on individual days, which cannot usually be planned months in advance. In these cases, however, a nurse will always be available to refer you to the substitute or to arrange an exclusive appointment for you during the next regular consultation hour.

Home visits:

As a rule, home visits are carried out outside the practice consultation hours by appointment and only in exceptional cases acutely out of the consultation hours.
Please note that the diagnostic possibilities available in the practice cannot be realised to the same extent at home. In some cases, an optimal assessment of the state of the disease can only be carried out in our practice, e.g. in case an ECG, a spirometry (lung function test) etc. are necessary.

Therefore, acute home visits are reserved only for cases where it is not possible to transport the patient to the practice.

However, the regularly scheduled home visit of seriously ill and/or ambulant patients is also part of the family doctor’s work.

In case of doubt, please contact us so that we can discuss the best procedure with you.
