About us

Katrin Schäfer, MD

Welcome to my practice. I am an experienced General Practitioner, am married, and have four children. It was already my wish as a child to study medicine. However, I was only able to realise this wish after three years of professional experience as a nursing assistant in psychiatry, neurology and psychotherapy in Ueckermünde. I completed my medical studies in Greifswald and Dublin/Ireland. In my dissertation I dealt with the problem of infertility (unfulfilled desire to have children) caused by chlamydia infections. I defended my doctoral thesis in 2000 and was awarded a doctorate. During my specialist training, I was active in various areas of medicine in accordance with the training regulations of the Medical Association and also in other specialist areas.

From 1995 to 2006 I worked as a doctor in neurology, trauma surgery and emergency medicine, internal medicine, especially gastroenterology, medical genetics and in general practice for general medicine. During my maternity leave, I taught ear, nose and throat medicine as a guest lecturer at the Wannsee nursing school. In October 2006, I started my own family practice. Since that time, I have enjoyed working as an independent doctor in private practice and am happy to individually support you in all health matters. In order to stay updated in my knowledge for you, I also take part in conferences and lectures beyond the number of prescribed further training courses.

Albina Bajmler

My name is Albina Bajmler. I am married and graduated from medical school as a nurse in 1979. From 1979 to 1997,  I worked in the hospital in Komarje/Russia where I gained a lot of experience in all areas of medicine and was able to work very independently. After moving to Germany, I first worked as a geriatric nurse.

I have been working as a nurse in general medicine since 2003, and since March 2011, in the practice of Dr. Katrin Schäfer. I enjoy working with people and helping them. To update my knowledge, I regularly take part in further training.

Kafui Ekpo

My name is Yawavi Kafui (Kafüi) Ekpo and I come from Togo (West Africa), where I graduated as a programmer in 1999 and studied sociology from 2001-2002.
Afterwards, I worked for a non-governmental organisation until 2008, which, among other things, grants micro-credits for women to secure their livelihood and strengthen their independence. I have been living in Germany since 2008.
I am married and have three children.

I successfully completed my retraining as a medical assistant in Berlin in 2019 and have been working in Dr Schäfer’s GP practice ever since.
I look forward every day to being there for you and being able to help you.
To update and consolidate my knowledge, I regularly take part in further training.

Jacqueline Tischer

My name is Jacqueline Sabine Tischer.
I am married and have two grown-up children.
I graduated from medical school in 1990 and have been working as a medical assistant at the current Fennpfuhl Health Centre ever since.
From 1998 to 2021, I worked in a general internal medicine practice with a focus on diabetology. During this time, I expanded my knowledge with additional training as a diabetes assistant, which I successfully completed in 1999.

I have been working in the GP practice of Dr. Schäfer since July 2021, where I bring my knowledge and skills from over thirty years in the profession.
I enjoy working with people and am happy to be there for you.
Even though I have many years of experience, I am always interested in updating my knowledge for you and regularly take part in further training.
