Vaccinations
The Standing Commission on Vaccination (in German, “STIKO”) recommends the following vaccinations as standard vaccinations for adults: Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis. These must be refreshed every 10 years.
Furthermore, the basic immunisation against poliomyelitis is recommended, as well as against measles for all people born after 1970. From the age of 60, or earlier in special cases, a one-time vaccination against pneumococcus and an annual vaccination against influenza are recommended.
Special vaccination recommendations also apply for special diseases.
